We hate these things. Legal issues are such a bummer. So our terms are basically this: We will do our best to make sure the site is always up and working, but use of this site is at your own risk. We cannot guarante uptime but we will do our best to keep it up 100% of the time. Your information is not guaranteed to be secure due to the requirement to host passes in a publicly accessible way (though we do our best to keep client information secure). We would suggest not including credit card numbers or social security numbers or other similarly sensitive data in your passes since anyone with the link to a pass would have access to the information. We do use hashing so that passes are not browsable and the user must have the exact link in order to access their pass. Do not use this service for life-saving/mission critical purposes (if someone could potentially die from the way you use this service, please don't do it!). We may use templates created with our service to promote the site. If you have an issue with that, let us know and we'll make sure not to use your templates. We'll do our best to protect your privacy and we won't spam you.
Okay, that wasn't so bad.
Simply put, we will not share or sell your information unless one of the companies demoed claims their pass, in which case we may share the information for that specific pass with the merchant, but in theory, they would already have that information. Anyone who has access to the pass creation link will have access to that pass information so we would recommend not including personal, financial, or sensitive information in the pass content. This is still a work in progress so if you have suggestions or concerns we'd love to hear them. The policy will be updated here if things change so check here since we will not spam your email with updates (however, we do reserve the right to send out email blasts about PassSource to anyone registered). We may use templates you create in promotional materials for , but we will try to obfuscate any personal information.
